Intern Program

Student teacher interns are chosen through an application process that involves submission of a written application and resume and Classroom observation. Individuals who join our team get training in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and benefit from our collaborative approach to teaching across all disciplines and domains.

Our large BCBA supervision team can accommodate individual and group training to BCBA candidates that need to meet the hours requirement to sit for the BCBA exam. Behavioral plans, curriculum modification, verbal behavior, adaptive daily living skills and other areas of the individuals’ program are analyzed and documented using data throughout the day.

Our Occupational Therapist specialize in sensory integration and regulation. Our facility included a Snoezelen room and many other areas where interns can develop a better understanding of the specific needs of our student population. We contact with many schools in the tristate area to provide high-level supervision.

Our prompt trained Speech therapists are ready to supervise interns from many universities that we hold contacts with. As an Augmentative Communication site, we train our interns in programing devices and integrating them into the daily schedule.
