David

David came to Shema Kolainu with limited language. After only a short time in Speech Therapy, David has improved his articulation of speech sounds he previously struggled with, specifically /s/ blends and /l/ words such as “monster" and “lollipop.”

David is now working on furthering these sounds to be able to speak in full sentences. His speech therapist uses exciting and colorful picture books to make the sounds come alive. He expands his overall vocabulary through the images he sees as he turns each page.
