ELIMELECH

Elimelech is an adorable 6-year-old, who used to bite his hand when overwhelmed and unable to self-regulate.  Using an Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) Device, Elimelech learned how to ask for a sensory break on his device so his teachers can understand when he is overwhelmed.

He also learned how to use different sensory materials, such as sensory sand or playdoh to self-regulate when upset. By using these skills, Elimelech is a much happier child who is continuing to learn and grow every day!
