JESSE
Classroom 105
Jesse, a 4-year-old nonverbal boy with ASD, has the cutest personality and has so much that he wants to express. While he is learning to communicate via AAC device, he is also working on increasing his babbling so that he can learn to communicate vocally. Jesse loves music, and so his teachers encourage and reinforce vocalizations throughout the day by singing his favorite songs.
Recently, Jesse began to say, “Buh,” when his teachers sing a goodbye song to him at the end of the day. We are so proud of him, and we can’t wait to hear more of his adorable voice! #wehearhisvoice
