Welcome to Our School

Let's go on a virtual tour of our favorite place. We have the greatest teachers and therapists. We hope you come in one day to meet us all in person and see for yourself what we mean.

My ABA Therapist, Miri, focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, reading, and academics as well as adaptive learning skills, such as fine motor dexterity, hygiene, grooming, and more

APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS

Art is a way for us to express ourselves and work on our communication skills. We share our feelings and emotions, experiment different textures and get super creative. You should see our creative creations. We make sculpture, draw pictures and use different types of material to create art.

Children like us that are on the autism spectrum find it challenging to go to the grocery store, library and even daily housekeeping. In our DLS center we have our very own mini supermarket, laundry room, kitchen, bedroom and gym. We work the register, stock the shelves, do the laundry....

DAILY LIVING SKILLS

Gym is a great outlet, not only for activities, it's also a fun way to develop our core strength and to regulate sensory needs.

GYM & PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Music therapy is awesome! It's very stimulating and we have lots of fun together as a group. Even my friends that don't talk love to use the instruments to express themselves and tell us how they feel.

Alexa, my OT, helps me strengthen my fine and gross motor skills. It also addresses eating and oral motor skills, self-care maintenance, and positioning.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

I'm not invited here, but I could tell you this. My parents have gained so much from these classes. It helps them implement the things we learn in school at home.

PARENT TRAINING

Our PT, helps us build strength, improve our mobility and work on our fine motor skills. Children like us are challenged with physical, developmental or neurological disabilities. The main emphasis of PT is on impairments of movement that lead to functional limitations.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

The Snoezelen Room is a multi-sensory environment. This place is so relaxing, I come here to reduce anxiety and agitation. The LED spiral sensation panel is hands down my favorite.

They say communication is key. Well, for us kids in this school it doesn't come naturally. How to express ideas, obtain desires, share information, and interact with others are all forms of communication that we focus on during these sessions to enhance our intentional communication.
